I need a new laptop!

My laptop recently crashed and I really need a new one. I spend a lot of time on my computer (not only for playing MM2 ) and I need to think about it before buying something!

I found this laptop. The brand is XXODD and they are made in the Netherlands. It's customizable: I can choose with or without OS, which processor I want etc.

What do you think about these specifications and the price?

_About price, its not very expensive..i think
_About resolution, i think you can customizate it, or the pc itself will adjust the game screen like my does (has pretty nice graphics when it does it)

Well, for that price (in portugal thats cheap) i think its kinda good pc, but im not a pro in computer specs, so, my oppinion is not a great thing

Well, specs look good, although I would buy a well-known brand such as ASUS

Or maybe try to find something with a Blu Ray Drive.

My father's ASUS failed after 5 years, which is not so bad..

i dont know much about laptops and stuff about hardrive, i kno only about software and stuff inside the computer and even that im not so great at.

Windows 7 is the same crap as Vista. And if I use XP my RAM has much more effect, because XP is more simple than Windows 7.

I did the same with my old Medion, but the problem is that not all drivers work properly with XP. A not working webcam and running driver programs that keep crashing etc.
I want to be sure that the PC I buy not only works with Windows 7 , so that it's made for other operating systems too...

1. As i already said you at school: there are still a lot of problems with the i3, i5, and i7 processors.
2. 15 Inch is a bit small, take 17"
3. I tried to play mm2 on a wide screen ones and notices that it just stretches and doesnt have any option to keep the properties right.
4. Probably your XP CD will be x86, so it doesnt support more than 3GB of RAM so you wont be able to extend your RAM memory
5. Get a mac and just install windows on it if you are freaked on windows that hard! But at least you are sure you have a good laptop then!!

Good idea, 'cause as I already said, laptops aren't made to be turned on for a very long time.
If you want to wait until there's a special action in a shop or something for a good computer, I have 2 desktop computers standing here wich you can use temporay if you like. 1,7 and 2,2 Ghz Desktops.
